The County Older Resident Programs provide services to individuals 60 years of age and older.  Services include transportation to doctors, grocery stores and banks, telephone reassurance, home visits, income tax assistance and more.  They also offer many volunteer opportunities.  For futher information, you may contact the County CORP office at 314/615-4516 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This program is designed for citizens who might face medical emergencies in their homes, do not have friends or relatives to check on them each day and is also provided to allow for some social interaction.
